Papaya Playa Project
A communal playground for likeminded travellers, Design Hotels’ Papaya Playa Project consists of 85 rough-luxe cabanas on a 900-metre stretch of virgin beach facing the turquoise waters of the Mexican Riviera.
The Original Experience package includes a five-night stay for up to four people in a Casita, Papaya Playa Project’s top accommodation with direct private access to the beach, and daily a-la-carte breakfast.
You will be treated to a sunset dinner at the resort’s private beach, including a bottle of Mexican wine from the Guadalupe Valley; a guided tour to Sian Ka’an Biosphere and the fisherman’s town of Punta Allen; a tour to the Coba Ruins and Mayan Village, including lunch and a swim in a Cenote, one of the region’s sacred sinkholes (see picture above).

Alila Villas Soori on the southwest coast of Bali might just be the very definition of paradise. Located near the island’s famed Tanah Lot Temple, this luxurious beachfront resort lies on a gentle slope between lush, green rice terraces and the soft, black-sand edge of the Indian Ocean.

Bergland Hotel Solden
When local deep-snow and synchronized skiing hero Sigi Grüner turned hotelier, he ordered the complete demolition of Sölden’s old Bergland Hotel in favor of another refurbishment. The result of is a self-contained playground for active travelers and adrenalin-seekers that come here to carve down some of Austria’s highest peaks on skis and bikes.
