Situated in the heart of Chianti between Siena and Florence, the Borgo di Pietrafitta Relais is a medieval town offering accommodation for up to 50 people. There are a total of 8 private rooms located in the main house on the first and second floor and they are divided into two price levels: standard and superior. 

A number of watchtowers, a school and many other old buildings in the ancient village of Pietrafitta have been rehabilitated/renovated to create 15 further splendid apartments. Carefully furnished country-chic environments steeped in nature, in which to breathe the authentic atmosphere of Chianti. Small, medium or large apartments in the Borgo di Pietrafitta are open, versatile and functional solutions characterized by the desire to create a dialogue between the interior and the outside, evoking the colours of nature. In addition to the newly renovated rooms, there are a total of 15 self-catering apartments including two independent vacation rental villas.

Each room comes with Satellite TV, a lock safe, wi fi, use of the pool, buffet breakfast in the suggestive wine cellar and a selection of quality hotel amenities. The apartments vary in size from 45-90 square meters and can accommodate between 2 to 7 persons.  The rental villa La Capanna has two bedrooms and a private garden and the evocative tower villa il Torrino can sleep up to 7 persons.  Each rental is decorated in soft pastel colors and a country chic décor which creates a relaxing atmosphere.

The nearest town is Castellina in Chianti, only 5 km away and from here you can take a panoramic tour of the roads twisting around acres and acres of vineyards to visit Radda, Greve or Giaole in Chianti, each of which will tempt you to sit at one of the many outdoor cafes or fine restaurants and contemplate a glass of Chianti’s finest.

For those with an adventurous spirit Borgo di Pietrafitta has just the right activity for you. Choose between hiking, biking, golf and horseback riding, each set among the low rolling hills and full forest areas of Chianti.  However, if you prefer something a bit different, which highlights the artistic culture and history of this area, you can easily do a day trip to visit the towns of Siena or Florence less an hour away.  And if you go just a little further you will find the enchanting tower town of San Gimignano to the east and Montalcino, the home of the Brunello wineries to the south.
