Originally a military-defence castle and in a totally ruined state, it had to undergo major structural work, under architect Corrado Giannini, while interiors have been curated by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. The honey-stone castle offers today eight grand bedrooms all with ensuite tailor-made bathrooms, a professional kitchen designed with the help of a chef, a fitness area and a private room for massages and wellness.

An exceptional luxury home, this retreat has been carefully crafted to bring luxury and comfort into a rare Italian experience: the interiors feature precious drapes and tapestries, artwork, furniture which, together with the view, create a unique atmosphere.

The sweeping views are unrivalled, offering a commanding view of the valley between Umbria and Tuscany, at 580 meters above sea level. A heated pool surrounded by lavender and wild Italian plants is available for guests together with luxury outdoors furnishing.

*This villa comes with the additional service of a travel planner, along with a local and regional concierge manager, known as APA locally. This gives you access to the concierge service at any time during or prior to your holiday, for any requests that you may have.

There is a refundable 30% charge for the APA service (Concierge), which also includes the damage deposit and it is to be paid at the time of the full balance payment. Any services that you require will be deducted from this at the time of check out and the remaining balance will be refunded to you.

There is a non-refundable charge for local taxes of €340 if the value of the villa is up to €15,000 per week or €680 if the value of the villa is above €15,000 per week.
