What we love

  • 6 acres of beachfront
  • Polaris Jeep for exploring
  • Beautiful sea views

Perfectly placed on six beachfront acres, the impressive Palm Beach estate is both dramatic in its setting and architectural facade, yet welcoming and comfortable for its guests. The grand Palladian style residence influenced by Oliver Messel, was built in 1999 and extensively renovated in 2011. The main villa boasts elegant formal living and dining rooms, whilst adjacent sitting room and outdoor verandas offer more casual space for relaxed entertaining.

While the main villa encompasses lovely formal living and dining rooms, their adjacent sitting room and outdoor verandahs offer areas for more casual moments. The master bedroom is reached by a grand staircase, while additional bedrooms on the main level are ideal for large families with children and nannies. Two charming poolside guest cottages provide guests with a sense of privacy, yet easy access to the beach.

Beach Life

Swimming & Beachcombing

There are many beaches to choose from on Mustique; Macaroni and Simplicity beaches situated on the north easterly side of the island offer more swell providing excellent surfing and body boarding, whilst Lagoon, Gelliceaux and Endeavour Bay beaches on the south westerly aspect of the island offer calmer waters more suited to snorkeling and paddle boarding, perfect for family swimming and picnicking.

Picnics & Barbeques

Picnics are central to life on Mustique. There are a number of picnic sites some with barbeque grills located around the island which are perfect for private parties. Your villa chef or hotel staff will prepare and set up your picnic for you.

Watersports

There is an extensive range of watersports available on the island from scuba diving to snorkelling, and windsurfing to Hobie Cat sailing. Visit our well stocked Watersports Centre located on Endeavour Bay where you can choose from boogie boards and windsurfers, stand up paddle boards or even a glass bottom kayak to explore the reefs beneath the sea. The equipment can even be dropped off at your favourite beach.

Scuba Diving

Mustique offers some of the best scuba diving in the Caribbean. With a dedicated team of professional PADI instructors and dive masters, and the latest dive equipment, we cater for beginners through to experienced divers.

Sailing

The waters around Mustique are renowned for their fabulous sailing conditions. Beginners and children can take lessons on the Hobie Cats in Endeavour Bay whilst more experienced sailors can charter a range of Schooners and Catamarans.

Visiting Neighbouring islands

Day trips visiting neighbouring islands are available by sail or power boats, by private charter or join an organized trip with options to snorkel, fish and to lunch on another island.
Visit the stunning marine conservation park at Tobago Cays, a pristine group of uninhabited islands where you can picnic 'on location' where Johnny Depp was famously marooned in The Pirates of the Caribbean, before swimming with the hawksbill turtles on the reef. Be sure to explore the neighbouring islands of Bequia, Canouan, Palm, Union and Petit St. Vincent.

Fishing

The seas around Mustique offer a host of different species from salt water salmon and mackerel, jack, yellowtail snapper and barracuda, to deep-sea tuna, dorado (mahi-mahi), wahoo, sailfish and marlin. Fishing trips can be arranged with our resident island fishermen who will provide the necessary boat and tackle. The island's fish reserves are closely monitored as part of the island's commitment to conservation and we work with the local fishermen to maintain a sustainable fishing programme.

Tennis

Tennis is very popular amongst Mustique guests. There are four floodlit omni-courts, and two floodlit hard courts. Use of the tennis courts is complimentary. A range of tennis lessons and courses for all ages are available with our resident tennis coach, including daily drop-in games for those looking for social match play, with seasonal camps and tournaments in high season.
Racquets, whites and tennis balls are available for purchase or hire at the Tennis Club Shop.

Equestrian

Explore Mustique on horseback, trekking up into the hills to enjoy the many wonderful views or gallop through the surf on a choice of deserted beaches. There are horses and ponies to suit all levels of experience and group or private lessons can be arranged.
There are very popular three day pony camps for children held during high season giving them the chance to learn about stable management and the daily care of their ponies.

Spa & Fitness

The Cotton House Spa has four treatment rooms, a relaxation room with stunning sea views and a specialist beauty salon offering a range of holistic and beauty treatments.

Wellness Centre
Warren Carl has joined us from Sydney, Australia, where he had his own studio, Yoga BC. His background as a professional dancer combined with his yoga, STOTT pilates and teaching qualifications from Deepak Chopra's Centre and secondary studies in physiotherapy with Simon Borg-Olivier, ensure the highest level of teaching for a range of fitness classes and yoga based on Hatha and Astanga traditions.

Golf

The neighbouring island of Canouan offers excellent golf facilities with an award winning championship golf course designed by Jim Fazio. Often described as “a golfer’s heaven” the course offers many challenges given its dramatic coastal location.

For Children

Mustique is a haven for children of all ages. The islands intimacy and security allows teenagers to roam safely at their will and mingle with new found friends allowing parents to relax and unwind in confidence. For very young children there are nannies and child minders available to give parents some time to themselves.

Mustique has a dedicated Social Director who arranges a fantastic array of fun activities and events, such as drive in movie night, tennis, pony camp, beach picnics and treasure hunts, and kite flying competitions, which make the island of Mustique a supremely safe and blissful retreat for anyone looking for the perfect family escape.
