Nestled amongst the peaks of the Southern Alps (New Zealand), at 1750 metres (5700ft) in the Albert Burn Saddle, Whare Kea Chalet sits on the edge of the Mount Aspiring National Park with astounding views of Mt. Cook and Mt. Aspiring. 

With two double bedrooms and a spacious loft, the chalet provides accommodation for up to six guests, and a bunkroom for two staff. Relaxed yet luxurious, the Chalet has power, a hot shower and large windows framing astounding views of Mount Cook and Mount Aspiring with its glaciers.

This exclusive alpine venue and its surrounding adventures can be enjoyed year-round by friends, families and small groups. The area is covered in snow during four months of the year, making it the ideal base for heli skiing. In summer the slopes of tussock grass are dotted with wild flowers and tarns offering a range of fantastic hiking routes that cater for all abilities.
