Located in a pristine area of the Adirondack mountains of upstate New York, it is approximately one and a half hours from the Adironack Regional Airport, two and a half hours from Albany or Syracuse, and five hours from Boston or New York City. Escape the hustle and bustle of daily life, make precious memories with your family and friends.
Lake Kora’s three pristine lakes are at their most magical in the early mornings, just after the mist has risen, your canoe gliding quietly through the still waters smooth as mirrors. The only sounds – other than that of your paddle, of course — are the wind in the trees and perhaps the flapping of birds’ wings, a call of the nesting loons, lending that rare feeling of complete solitude.
Throughout the day, the lakes remain the centerpiece of the property. An array of watersports equipment – antique canoes, kayaks, one- and two-person sailboats, and windsurfing equipment – is available, and fishing equipment (including starter rods for younger guests) allows for further enjoyment of the lake.
