Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts is bringing its renowned spa concept to Shanghai with the launch of an urban resort on the banks of the Huangpu River.
Banyan Tree on the Bund occupies an enviable position in Shanghai’s North Bund area, where – in a first of its kind for the city – all 130 suites will have superb river views.
The restaurants promise to be superb as well, with the four focusing on western seafood, Cantonese, ultra fresh sushi and sashimi and al fresco a la carte from a rooftop bar just perfect for exotic cocktails and spectacular sunsets over the Bund skyline.
“Following the success of our group’s three other urban resorts – in Bangkok, Macau and Seoul – Banyan Tree Shanghai on the Bund capitalises on our core brand value of rejuvenation and offers a sanctuary for the senses within the context of Shanghai’s vast urban cityscape,” the hotel’s GM Pancho Llamas said.
“Business and leisure travellers may take advantage of our many amenities and facilities, such as an award-winning spa, a multitude of dining venues and various meeting spaces, during their visit to what is one of China’s most dynamic urban environments.”
The resort will also offer Banyan Tree’s award-winning Banyan Tree Spa, a state-of-the-art health club and the signature Banyan Tree Gallery.
