Chalet Merlo is a six-bedroom chalet in the Isere Valley, close to the ski resorts of Val D’Isere, Tignes, Les Arcs and La Rosiere, with backcountry routes from Ste Foy accessible from the property. The result is a choice for all levels of skier within 10-20 minute minibus transfer from the chalet.
Located in the village of Le Miroir, Chalet Merlo is perfect for families, as well private and corporate groups, after the best in luxury, comfort and added extras.
For groups of up to 20 people a sister chalet is available to rent in conjunction with Merlo. During the off season the chalet is also available for long weekends and short breaks.
In summer the chalet is perfect for party groups, with lots of walking routes, rafting, mountain biking on the Via Ferrata and trips via the cols to Italy, which is only 25 kms away.
The location is also perfect for spectators, road biking groups and training camps to take advantage of the Tour de France and the famous cols and cyclosportives on offer in the French Alps.
There is a 20-bike trailer on site for storage and a ride lead available to help with local routes, races and cycle holiday planning.
Villa Bedrooms: All 6 bedrooms are ensuite and come with luxury designer bathrobes, toiletries, and slippers.
Living Areas: The dining and living area has a log fire and large open plan seating. There is also a mezzanine floor equipped with office equipment (computer, printer, etc.,) and a games area with Xbox and games, plus a film library of over 600 dvd's.
A separate massage chalet, hot tub and sauna offer the ultimate in pampering, while the fully equipped two-storey gym with plasma screen is waiting for those that wish to keep up with exercise routines or tone ski muscles.
In addition to the quality house wines and champagnes, there's a well-stocked wine cellar, which is the perfect addition to the tailored four-course meals and canapés prepared by the qualified chef.
