The ultra-chic Desert Palm Dubai is now offering budding polo players the chance to learn the game on some of the world’s finest pitches.
Polo lessons at the boutique Desert Palm are pitched to guests of all levels and no previous riding experience is needed – making it the perfect opportunity to try a chukka challenge.
The resort provides everything from basic mallet and ball technique tips to full polo lessons lasting 45 minutes.
For more experienced riders, there is the option to ride in a competitive chukka with other players.
For the less competitive, the equestrian facilities at the boutique resort offer every aspect of horse riding, from dressage to hacks around the surrounding area.
After guests have worn themselves out with training they can enjoy the spacious new Polo Suites at Desert Palm, just metres from the fields that host The Royal Salute UAE Nations Cup and the Cartier International Dubai Polo Challenge, with great views over the lush green surroundings.
Desert Palm is a stylish Arabian property, ideal for those visiting Dubai who wish to be close to the city but also relax in the tranquil grounds of a private polo estate. As well as 38 designer suites, LIME Spa, a stunning infinity pool and award winning restaurants, Desert Palm features extensive riding and stable facilities, for over 300 horses.
