Positano villa built on the cliffside close to the enchanting town of Positano, Perla di Mare is a beautiful seaside villa with stunning views and easy access to the local pebble beach via the nearby funicular lift.

Three generous terraces overlook Positano and the Mediterranean sea, and the villa itself enjoys a splendid setting in the midst of hibiscus, agavi plants and maritime pine trees.Internally the accommodation has been designed so that every room opens onto one of the interconnected and spacious terraces, allowing all the guests to enjoy the beautiful views and making for a very relaxing holiday.

The pool is located just above and behind the villa, only a few steps up from the top floor terrace, and has been thoughtfully positioned to give the impression that you are swimming in the sea a few hundred metres below. This sense of suspension between sea and sky is one of the factors that makes Perla di Mare a truly memorable place.

A few steps up from the pool is a further private sun terrace which offers a 360 degree view of the coast and sea.

You will find plenty of restaurants, shops and bars in buzzing Positano close by, but don't miss out on a visit to Amalfi or to Ravello, both of which are also very special places. The whole coastline stretching from the Gulf of Naples to the Gulf of Salerno is a spectacular scenic area and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Dotted with countless rocky coves, dramatic cliffs and picturesque whitewashed villages set against the cobalt-blue Tyrrhenian sea, is really does need to be experienced to be believed. One of the best ways to enjoy the beauty of this natural landscape is from the sea itself. Boat trips are available to the islands of Capri or Ischia, as well as to other places on the coast. You can even charter your own boat for the day and discover your very own little cove. There are plenty of places to visit for the day, such as Pompei or Herculaneum, or Mount Vesuvius where you can climb up to the crater and admire the views over the Bay of Naples. Both by day and by night the Amalfi coast understandably does leave a long lasting impression on all its visitors, as well as a strong desire to return.
