First documented in 1423, the Early Renaissance Villa adorns the Tuscan hillside, surrounded by seven acres of fertile land shielded by a 15th century stone wall that provides privacy and sanctuary. It is here that the noblest Florentine families chose to retreat, echoing our modern-day need to retreat - Villa I Busini provides a safe haven in these unprecedented times.

Meticulously preserved and respectfully renovated to capture its authentic Renaissance glamour, Villa I Busini offers an experience of a foregone and celebrated era, with the comforts and luxuries of our contemporary time. The Villa can accommodate up to 14 persons in seven guestrooms, while select salons, terraces, and halls are available to host intimate gatherings of up to 50 persons. 

Each of the seven elegant accommodations, the five salons, two dining rooms, quaint chapel, and ornate library have been restored and designed with the utmost attention to detail to reflect the grand history of the Villa and cater to the needs of even the most discerning guests. Hand-selected antiques, Renaissance artworks, stained glass windows, Coat of the Arms tapestries, and stone statues capture the Villa’s glorious past and offer an authentic Tuscan experience like none other.

Ground Floor

Maria Suite:

Large Queen Size Bed. Its ground floor location makes it ideal for guests who prefer stair-free access and its western views overlooking one of the Villa’s most beautiful terraces, with the Val di Sieve hill-tops in the distance. Ornately appointed bespoke bathroom accents and a glass-framed wall cleverly conceal the facilities.

First Floor

Simone Grand Suite:

Large Queen Size 16th century Four Poster Bed. The grand bathroom has its own fireplace and a large replica of Sandro Botticelli’s, Portrait of a Young Woman. The Simone Grand Suite also features an oversized custom-made sofa bed in the main salon, allowing for flexibility of sleeping arrangements, and accommodating two additional persons.

Bindo Suite:

Large Queen Size Bed. Its northwestern location provides beautiful views of the tranquil terrace below and the surrounding Tuscan landscape. The bathroom is a suite of its own. A large bathing area features a bronze-burnished exterior bath, a slightly elevated and exceptionally beautiful urn-like basin, an impressive mirror, and a spacious shower.

Averardo Tower Suite (Split-Level, Second & Third Floor Suite Accommodations)

Large Queen Size Bed. The salon and bathroom are situated on the first floor of the suite where the original stone structure of the Torre di Ghibellini has been left exposed, providing an authentic glimpse of a foregone era. The open plan bedroom with its colorful, ambient lighting and Renaissance stone bath reside on the top floor, where the original wooden ceiling beams have been left exposed. Incredible views of the gardens.

Edith Junior Suite

Large Queen Size Bed. Located on the first floor of the Villa overlooking the western terrace, the Edith Junior Suite offers sweeping views of the luscious terrain and hilltops of Val di Sieve and exudes an ambiance of serenity.. In the delightful bathroom, a giant mirror cleverly conceals the shower and facilities and provides a beautiful reflection of the urn-like earthenware basin and the elegant bath.

Girolamo Superior Room:

Large Queen Size Bed. The Girolamo Superior Room may be the smallest bedroom in Villa I Busini, but it lacks no charm. 

Tommaso Junior Suite:

Large Queen Size Bed.  In the unique bathroom, brass booths enclose the facilities and shower, and a charming free-standing bath with ornate brass feet graces the light and spacious bathroom..Its east-facing location welcomes the morning sun and makes the terrace an idyllic place to enjoy morning coffee
