What we love
- Walk to a pebble beach
- Private chef and hostess
- Panoramic sea and mountain views
Built in traditional Mallorcan style, with exposed beam ceilings and terracotta tiled floors, it has been sympathetically built into the landscape and has panoramic sea and mountain views. Sa Punta de S’Aguila has a private heated swimming pool, kitchen, living room and dining area. This villa comfortably sleeps 10 adults in 5 en-suite bedrooms. Rooms at Sa Punta de S'Aguila are arranged over three levels and all feature en-suite bathrooms, Bose speakers and a complimentary selection of toiletries. Each room has its own terraced seating area.
The menus have a huge influence on local produce, fish, lamb, meats cheeses, fresh bread and pastries and of course olives. In general Mallorcan wine is served, both red and white which is of high quality. Your rate includes daily continental breakfast plus lunch and dinner for six nights of your stay. Our chefs and hostess will prepare a selection of cold dishes for breakfast before leaving each evening and you can help yourself in the morning, so there’s definitely no need to rush up! Lunch is served buffet style and three-course dinners can be tailor made according to your preferences, or we can serve local Mallorcan and Mediterranean style dishes. On one day during your stay we can arrange for you to visit some of the local restaurant offerings and are happy to organise reservations. All drinks including alcoholic beverages are included and you are welcome to help yourself. Our team will chat to you before you arrive to make sure we’re stocked up with your favourite tipple.

Things to do
If you would like a spa treatment during your stay please ask a member of the team who will be happy to provide a spa treatment list. Spa treatments are subject to availability and an additional cost will be applied.
Take a dip in your private heated pool just steps away from your villa. Both pools are heated (as and when necessary) and have steps into pool, temperature can reach 29/30 degrees.
Play a spot of tennis on the nearby court (racquets and balls provided). The tennis court is shared by Sa Terra Rotja and Sa Punta de S’Aguila.
Settled within the beautiful Mallorcan mountainous landscape, the area is perfect for hiking expeditions. Take a walk around the estate which is 3km × 5km in size, or head straight down to the coast walk which starts from a pebble beach. The walk between the two villas is approximately 40 minutes. If you want to go further afield, the nearest town is Banyalbufar and is approximately a 30 minute walk from Sa Punta de S'Aguila or an hour walk along the beach front from Sa Terra Rotja. Hiking expeditions can also be arranged.
Cycling excursions to explore Mallorca can be arranged during your stay. Cycling equipment is organised with a cycle hire company so please let us know in advance if you would like to do this so we can get everything organised.
There are over 20 golf courses on the island, many of which are of a high standard; we can help with green reservations should you wish to visit one.
During a holiday on a beautiful Spanish island, it would be wrong not to experience a sailing trip on the tranquil Mediterranean waters. We can help organise sailing trips during your stay so simply speak to the team on arrival.
Canoeing and Kayak Tours
If you are looking for a more energetic way to explore the ocean waters, we can organise local canoeing and kayak tours. Speak to the team on arrival to find out more details.
Deep Sea Fishing
If you are in Mallorca, do not hesitate to get in contact with Captain Borras for a spot of deep sea fishing. The area truly is perfect for sailing and fishing.
By car, it is well worth exploring the surrounding area of Mallorca with its beautiful scenery and many charming villages. You will find art galleries, museums, shops, restaurants and beaches only a short distance away.
Sometimes when you are visiting a new place for the first it is difficult to know where to go. Here are some of our recommendations for towns to explore:
Banyalbufar - this is the closest town to Son Bunyola (about a 15 minute drive away) and is where most guests will have lunch or dinner at least once.
Valdemossa - it's a bit more touristy, but still worth a visit for lunch or an afternoon drink.
Esporles - guests are likely to drive through Esporles on the way to Son Bunyola which is a 20 minutes drive from the estate.
Deia - this town is definitely worth a visit either for lunch or dinner. Deia is a beautiful, traditional Mallorcan town 40 minutes from Son Bunyola with great restaurants and small shops.
Cala Deia Beach - after being made famous in the BBC drama ‘The Night Manager’, this is a traditional cove like beach, with great local restaurants serving local fish and cuisine at good prices.
Palma - the capital of Mallorca is where you will find great international shops and boutiques. The waterfront Cathedral and the old town are a key feature to the city and worth a visit. Palma is where there is more nightlife, clubs and bars and is approximately a 45 minute drive from Son Bunyola.
