Un Chateau en Provence is located in the South Luberon countryside, close to some of the pretty villages of Ansouis and Lourmarin. 

The exteriors of the chateau are as one would expect steeped in history since the original building was built in 1603. The extensive gardens, which include several water features, an olive grove, a long driveway with plane trees acting as sentries, a working windmill, a formal French garden, two heated pools, one Greco–Roman in style and close to the chateau measuring 20 x 7m, the other located close to the Bergerie measuring 14 x 5m and several lakes, all of which are surrounded by vineyards run by the estate. The wines incidentally are highly recommended.

The interiors of the chateau are utterly charming and evidently steeped in the history of a bygone classic age, the rooms are all spacious, whilst decorated and furnished to a high standard throughout. The ground floor includes: a welcoming and large hall, the main kitchen and back kitchen both of which are very well equipped with two cold rooms, a fridge freezer, two ovens, a gas range, and two dining tables. There are two dining rooms, the larger can seat up to 16 at one table or alternatively up to 25 at separate tables, whilst the smaller can seat 8. There are two living rooms: the first is vast featuring a large working fireplace, whilst the second, which is used as a TV room, is intimate and features a collection of antique apothecary jars. For those who need to work, the chateau has an office. There is also a small chapel, which was consecrated 1661 and is set close to the inviting conservatory-like interior heated swimming pool of 11 x 4m. A lift or staircase takes one up to another comfortable living room and to the 7 bedrooms all of which are en-suite and face south towards the main garden.
