La Demeure de Maussane is located near Les Baux-de-Provence, in the countryside on the outskirts of the small village of Maussane-les-Alpilles. This beautifully restored Maison de Maître dating from the early 18th century is set in large French gardens with a vast heated pool. It is a house of real character renovated by renowned architects who have mixed authenticity and modernity perfectly.  

Originally the property was an oil mill built in 1738 on a field of more than 300 olive trees at the foot of the Massif des Alpilles. Over the generations, the property has become a luxury residence with gardens built around large plane trees, basins and fountains, imposing reception rooms on both the ground and first floors and 8 large bedrooms that can comfortably accommodate up to 16 people in an exceptional setting and style.

The decoration of the property is dominated by warm hues reminiscent of earth and stone. The owners have also created a vegetable garden where everyone can pick their vegetables at will and a henhouse to have fresh eggs every day.
